So yes, it is never too early to start decorating for Christmas as soon as Halloween is over.. it is only November 10th and the stores around here are already decked out in Christmas lights lining their building and decorations on the doors! My coworker came across my wreaths page on Facebook (JS Wreaths) and contacted me about making her a custom wreath. She wanted burlap and mesh and lots of spring ribbons. She told me a few colors she liked and that her front door was black so she wanted the wreath to pop! I absolutely loved making this wreath! All of my wreaths are unique. I put together different patterns and colors to create a one-of-a-kind wreath that will be solely yours and will not look like anyone else's. This is why I love making wreaths. Burlap, Burlap, Burlap

Burlap has slowly become all the rage, from home decor to wedding decor, we find burlap just about anywhere! It is so versatile and creates a rustic chic look. Recently I have had a lot of orders for Burlap Wreaths and wanted to share how simple a Burlap wreath is! All you need is a work wreath form (available at any craft store), and some basic burlap mesh (from Hobby Lobby)!

MARDI GRAS

With my husband being from the mississippi gulf coast, and being used to celebrating Mardi Gras for two weeks straight, it is definitely a culture shock living in Kansas City. We have met a few people here who don't even know what Mardi Gras or King Cakes are! They sure are missing out! I made this cute little festive Mardi Gras wreath out of mardi gras boas and masks that I picked up this weekend and a burlap wreath I already had! So easy. I love Mardi Gras and St Patrick's day wreaths! Mainly because green is my favorite color to use on my wreaths!
