With my husband being from the mississippi gulf coast, and being used to celebrating Mardi Gras for two weeks straight, it is definitely a culture shock living in Kansas City. We have met a few people here who don't even know what Mardi Gras or King Cakes are! They sure are missing out! I made this cute little festive Mardi Gras wreath out of mardi gras boas and masks that I picked up this weekend and a burlap wreath I already had! So easy. I love Mardi Gras and St Patrick's day wreaths! Mainly because green is my favorite color to use on my wreaths!
